Tara Alvarez Garcia is an accomplished leadership coach and the founder of TYS Coaching, a leadership development practice dedicated to helping professionals grow into confident, effective leaders. She draws on a rich background in communications and psychology, combined with real-world experience leading global teams in the fast-paced tech and marketing sectors. Before launching TYS Coaching, Tara spent over a decade in senior leadership roles, working with world-class organisations such as Walt Disney, Adobe, Cisco and Sky, where she developed a deep appreciation for building people-centric, high-performing teams.
The name TYS Coaching comes from Tara’s childhood nickname (“Tys,” inspired by boxer Mike Tyson) — reflecting her tenacity, determination, and no-nonsense drive to help others unlock their potential. Tara believes that great leadership fosters happier teams and sustainable business success, and she’s passionate about empowering leaders to embrace their strengths and lead with impact.
