A little about me

In 2019, I was handed a team of nearly 20 designers, videographers and IP managers. I had zero experience in any of these fields. But that didn’t stop me. I took the challenge head on to coach the experts in my team.

I couldn’t tell them what to do because I had no idea how to do it myself. But something amazing happened…

When I put that coaching hat on, I never wanted to take it off. I felt so much energy empowering others, seeing them solve problems and take ownership of their areas of expertise.

My career has been incredible so far, working with world-class teams and brands. I started under a management team from the likes of Walt Disney, Adobe, Cisco, and Sky, and ended that marketing journey at one of the best entertainment suppliers in the online gaming industry.

My take on leadership coaching

With a background in Communications & Psychology, an ILM Level 7 qualification in Coaching & Mentoring, and on my way to achieve my EMCC Accreditation, I combine deep understanding of human behaviour (like why you may still get butterflies before delivering feedback in a performance review - even if you’ve done it hundreds of times!) with proven coaching strategies to help leaders unlock their potential.

Hand on heart, I love waking up to work on a Monday (although, I’d love the occasional lie in!), I never dread my working day. And, neither should you.

I believe great leadership creates happier teams, and happier teams make businesses sustainable. Imagine a more enjoyable place to walk into and stay put, knowing there is constant progression. My childhood nickname was Tys (yes, after Mike Tyson), because I was one determined child who never backed down from a challenge. That determination has followed me into my career, and it’s embedded in my coaching philosophy.
